Dear uncle-willies,
Hi guy, I have a plan set for this model and the model is about 3/4 finished. I will say that "IF YOU BUILD BY THE PLAN SET,THE MODEL WILL FALL APART". The lower wing needs much rework to hold the load. Mine has an aluminum landing gear spreading the force all on the center cruch. The lower wing attachment needs to be re-done as the wing at the outside of the fusalage has nothing to solidify it and any type of covering will be disloged. The bottom line is that this model needs many changes to be considered air worthy. By the way mine is for C/L. Any questions call me at ###-###-#### or e-mail. Keep up the good work, I love your plans, but this one requires a very experianced builder to make the modifications from stock.
Thank you, ilegworldchamp

36" wing span. Plans include a BOM (Bill Of Materials). As you can see in Ed's picture, the plane can be easily converted to RC and electric.
I have included a close up color scan to prove to you that my work is of the finest quality. As you can see, I am extremely proud of my fine work and I have nothing to hide.
My plans are so clean that you can see a pin drop! Now what have you got to be scared of?

Helldiver
34" wing span.... BOM included.
HISTORY: The Curtiss Helldiver, despite a reputation for being difficult to handle at low speeds, was responsible for the destruction of more Japanese targets than any other aircraft. The Curtiss SB2C single-engine dive-bomber joined the fleet late in 1943, joining the Douglas Dauntless as the primary attack/bombing planes for the US Navy. The two-man Helldiver had a top speed of 295 mph and good range, making it an essential tool in the far reaches of the Pacific war. With underwing and bomb attachments, the Helldiver could carry 1,000 pounds of bombs or an internal torpedo; later improvements included an uprated Wright Cyclone engine and rocket hardpoints. It carried two fixed forward 20mm cannon and machine guns in the rear cockpit. Only one airworthy Helldiver remains -- with the Commemorative Air Force in Texas.
